Full Product Description for: Saundersfoot
Saundersfoot began life as a few medieval cottages in a forest clearing in Coedrath, a hunting ground of the Norman Earls of Pembroke.
Five hundred years later it had grown into a thriving coal port with its abundance of anthracite coal, and exported 30,000 tons annually from its harbour. 150 years on when the coal industry vanished Saundersfoot evolved into the seaside resort we know today.
Saundersfoot is a fishing village located in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and is one of the most popular seaside resorts in the UK.
Located at the foot of a picturesque wooded valley Saundersfoot has everything to offer from sandy beaches, watersports, fishing trips, shopping, accommodations, restaurants, pubs, hotels and the coastal path.
